How to Walk in Platform Heels
- Rocking platform heels is all about attitude. Do the model walk – as if you're walking an invisible tightrope on the ground.
- The high heel high heel ‘heel-toe, heel-toe’ rule applies to platform heels too. You put your heel down first and roll to your toe.
- Pay careful attention to where your feet are going when navigating uneven surfaces. A misstep in a platform heel can hurt.
- They are not made for long treks so do take frequent platform breaks. Stand with one foot slightly in front of the other, with the rear foot turned with the toes pointing out at about a 45-degree angle. When you're ready to go again, step forward with the rear foot.
